Gate of all Nations (Persepolis)

This is the gate of all nations . This is the entrance to the Persian Empire's once capital city, Persepolis. Time is around 5:45 pm ... 

Column @ Persepolis

Ok, here's a little history on one of 276 columns that were in Persepolis. Each column is about 100 Tons. 85 Tons for the column itself which is made of 3 seperated pieces (you can clearly see the lines) and 15 tons for the top part.

My camera was on the tripod , and guess what? it wasn't screwed onto it, so I moved it to take my second shot but the camera fell on the hard wood floor and BOOM! ... you guessed it ... Gone in history. what remained is this photo!
